Novel Ingredient Service is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.  Primary responsibilities are the review and release of inventory based on acceptance criteria and analytical data.  Other duties include communicating, investigating, and resolving conflicts with customers and contract laboratories, development and review of quality related documents and records, and supporting other Quality Assurance related duties.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field of study (Chemistry/biochemistry  preferred), and several years of proven experience in a laboratory and cGMP setting. A strong background with botanical products is preferred.  Candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, the ability to exhibit proficiency in laboratory skills, equipment, methods, and practices.  Also an ability to demonstrate strong math, analytical, and problem solving skills.  Must be detail oriented, strong ability to concurrently perform multiple tasks, and have the ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision.
